What We Do
At this year’s SID I-Zone Fluxim introduces Opixs, a powerful all-new design tool to optimize the color gamut and power consumption of state-of-the-art OLED displays as well as to study novel sub-pixel concepts going beyond 3 RGB subpixels. Opixs takes color-coordinates as well as current-voltage-luminance curves as input and processes a user’s input image to create a power consumption map and determine power reduction.
Fluxim Inc. is a spin-off from Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. The company commercializes a range of R&D tools for opto-electronic characterization and modeling of OLEDs and next-generation solar cells and collaborates with leading industry partners and academia worldwide. Fluxim’s simulation software Setfos has been a key OLED display engineering tool for more than 20 years. For display researchers, the optoelectronic measurement platform Paios, the angular luminescence spectrometer Phelos, the stability testing instrument Litos and the large-area simulation software Laoss all provide key insights into performance limitations and optimization potential.
